From the 26th to the 30th of October, two of our school's teachers travelled to Sellia Marina, in Italy, for a meeting of the Comenius project which gathered teachers from all seven schools of the seven european countries involved. The meeting's purpose was to make decisions that are very significant for the better functioning of the project, such as the distribution of tasks among schools, official calendarization of the trips and the choosing of a logotype for the project.

The host school, Instituto Comprensivo di Sellia Marina, also organized trips to local landmarks, such as the Fort of Cotrone, a Calabrian icon.

As for the defined work goals, meetings went according to planned. Each country gave the PowerPoint presentations that its school had been developing about their local traditions or other specific national characteristics. The logotype for the project was selected -- from among all the schools' proposals, the polish candidate was the winner.

The Italian school and team were welcoming and hospitable in every way, and we'd like to thank the Istituto for their kindness on the behalf of our school.

Our teachers returned from Italy with several work proposals that are still being developed; as soon as they are definitive they will be placed online, at this address.
